Are you looking for inexpensive and universal insulation for your fitting? Then our EPP boxes are just right for you.
EPP boxes are available in 17 different shapes and in nominal widths from DN15 to DN50. This means we cover a large proportion of threaded fittings. We have created 2 extra series for connections with external threads. The boxes are available in anthracite and silver-grey.
The material EPP (expanded polypropylene) can be used up to a temperature of +110°C. With a thermal conductivity of 0.040 W/mK at 10°C and the calculated wall thickness, this insulation complies with the current GEG and EnEV. The EPP insulation is sealed using an integrated geometric closure, which makes external closures unnecessary. The different spindle diameters of the fittings and valves can be adapted to the specified spindle opening of the insulation using a punched soft foam adapter supplied. After all, the best insulation is useless if you don’t seal it and the draught passes through the insulation.
EPP boxes have been tested as molded parts (not just as raw material!) by the Materials Testing Office and have their own material test certificate. They have been tested in accordance with DIN 4102 and EN 13501-1.
