Conditions of use

Conditions of use

1. Content of the Online Presentation

The author assumes no liability for the currency, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the author relating to damages of a material or non-material nature caused by the use or non-use of the information presented or by the use of erroneous and incomplete information are fundamentally excluded insofar as no verifiably premeditated or grossly negligent culpability obtains on the part of the author.

All offers are without engagement and non-binding. The author expressly reserves the right to change, amend or delete parts of the pages or the entire online presence or to discontinue publication periodically or definitively without separate notice.

2. References and Links

In the case of direct or indirect references to external websites (“hyperlinks”) lying outside the author’s area of responsibility, liability would only come into effect in the event that the author had knowledge of the contents and it would be technically possible and reasonable for him or her to prevent use in the case of unlawful contents. The author hereby expressly declares that at the time the links were placed no illegal content was discernible on the linked pages. The author has no influence on the current and future design, content or authorship of the linked/associated pages. He/she therefore hereby expressly distances himself/herself from all content of all linked/associated pages that were altered after the links were placed. This statement applies to all links and references placed within his/her own internet presentation as well as to external entries in guest books, discussion forums and mailing lists set up by the author. Illegal, erroneous or incomplete content and, in particular, any damage arising from the use or non-use of such presented information, is the sole responsibility of the provider of the page referred to and not of the person who merely refers to the relevant publication via links.

3. Copyright and Trademark Law

The author shall make every effort in all publications to respect the copyrights pertaining to the graphics, audio and video files and texts used, to use graphics, audio and video files and texts created by himself/herself or to use graphics, audio and video files and texts that are in the public domain. All brands and trademarks named on the internet presentation and possibly protected by third parties are unreservedly subject to the provisions of the respectively applicable trademark law and the property rights of the respectively registered owners. Their mere naming alone should not lead to the conclusion that brands are not protected by the rights of third parties. The copyright for published items created by the author himself/herself remains solely with the author of the pages. Duplication or use of such graphics, audio and video files and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the express consent of the author.

4. Data Protection

Insofar as there is the possibility of entering personal or business data (email addresses, names, addresses) within the internet presentation, these data are divulged by the user on an expressly voluntary basis. The use of, and payment for, all the services offered is also permitted without providing such data or by giving anonymised data or a pseudonym where this is technically possible and reasonable. The use of contact data published as part of the site notice or comparable information, such as postal addresses, telephone and fax numbers as well as email addresses, by third parties for the purpose of sending information not expressly requested is not permitted. The right to take legal measures against senders of so-called ‘spam emails’ in violation of this prohibition is expressly reserved.

5. Legal Effectiveness of this Exclusion of Liability

This exclusion of liability is to be regarded as part of the internet presentation from which reference to this page was made. Insofar as parts or individual formulations of this text should not correspond, no longer correspond or do not fully correspond to the prevailing legal situation, the remaining parts of the document shall remain unaffected by this in terms of their content and validity.
