EPP boxes - cost-effective insulation for valves with threaded ends


EnEV requires all components of a heating or hot-water system to be adequately insulated. Our new EPP box allows you to fulfil the guidelines of EnEV with minimal labour and expense.


Expanded polypropylene is entirely free of harmful substances and recyclable, and for these reasons has already been used for many years in the food industry. Naturally, EPP boxes also satisfy the requirements of fire protection class B2 of DIN 4102.


Thanks to the ingenious geometric fastener, no external fixing is necessary. Each EPP box is supplied with two rubber adaptors in different wall thicknesses. With these adaptors various diameters of spindle can be adapted to the specified spindle opening and sealed tight. The boxes can be removed at any time and re-used, and thus offer easy access to the fittings for repair and maintenance.
